In late 2022 MCC released a strategy aligned around inclusion and gender in its programs. With the success of the climate iconic image, the agency’s leadership wanted a unique, standout graphic for this strategy’s release as well.
The Challenge
The inclusion and gender iconic image had several requirements. It needed to:
- represent the concepts of both inclusion and gender while being gender-neutral,
- represent the components of the strategy,
- be a static graphic that could be used in print, in presentations and as a digital background,
- a graphic that could be repurposed into an infographic, and
- a graphic that could be animated.
The Solution
The final product is a graphical representation of a group of individuals, each represented by a distinct color from a color palette specifically designed for this graphic. Each individual symbolizes a component of the strategy, accompanied by an icon that corresponds to that specific component.
The design made an animation easy and compelling and also allowed for it to be sliced up for infographic use..
